Overview

Calvary’s Anointed Praise Choir Calvary’s Anointed Praise Church Choir is the adult choir of the Calvary Temple Christian Center Ministries. Currently under the Direction of Bro. Vincent G. Shields. This choir is comprised of members of the Calvary Temple Christian Center Ministries who possess the desire to worship God through music and song. The Choir’s primary function is to provide music as a part of our Sunday Morning Worship Service as well as church-related conferences, concerts, special services and events and also outside engagements. The Choir also holds yearly fundraisers and events, such as Choir Day, Themed Bowling Parties, and The Total Worship Experience Conference. The choir meets Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm for rehearsals to prepare for Sunday Morning Worship Service. Rehearsals include prayer, scripture reading, and voice training techniques. As a part of the Calvary Temple Christian Center Ministries it is our goal to build a choir that will operate in excellence on every level. It is our desire to use music as a vehicle to develop a deeper relationship with Christ, thus enabling us to sing under the anointing of God touching the lives of God’s people through music and song.

CTCC Worship Team“God is a spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 Membership on the Worship Team is a position of Christian leadership, and consists of individual who have been set apart and consider themselves ministers of the gospel of Christ through music and song. The Worship Team Under the leadership of Sis. Connie Edmonds is responsible for leading praise and worship during Sunday Morning Worship, Wednesday night bible class, special services, and outside engagements. Anyone interested in becoming a part of the Worship Team must be a member of Calvary Temple Christian Center for one year.

Must be at least 18 years of age and filled with the Holy Spirit. They must also be a tither, attend prayer and bible class and able to attend weekly rehearsals held every Saturday from 12pm-2pm. Must be a worshipper and able to sing skillfully. It is our goal to build a Worship Team (s) that will operate in excellence on every level. We aspire to open for plays, concerts, musical productions and to record live in the very near future.

T.H.UG.S. Youth Choir The Youth Choir under the leadership of Youth Pastor Edward Edmonds and under the direction of Sis. Connie Edmonds consists of youth between the ages of 2-16 years of age. The Youth Choir rehearses on the 4th Saturday of the month at 2:00pm and performs as a part of the youth service on the 4th Sunday of the month. Band CTCC’s Band is comprised of enthusiastic, youthful and energetic young men who not only use there God given talents to enhance the flow of services but also enjoy the Word of God that flows from the anointed vessels that grace CTCC’s pulpit. They also follow Bishop-elect Thompson, the Worship Team and C.A.P. to outside engagements in support of the ministry.
