Mission Statement
To provide supportive and spiritual callings throughout the ministry. CTCC Care Team Ministry will encourage the souls of individuals to be lifted with the sincere words of faith. CTCC Care Team Ministry seeks to inspire and encourage the true faith of our God and our Lord is genuine. To be an example and have compassion and guidance through the sincerity of love for all his people. The bible says we are to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Isaiah 61:3
Thank you for taking the time to find out about Calvary Temple Christian Center’s Care Team.
In Matthew 25:35-37 the bible lets us know that when we minister to the needs of the least of God’s brethren by feeding, clothing and providing shelter for them we are pleasing Him. With this knowledge we strive to please Him by ministering to as many of His people as we can. Our purpose is to be available for the people, serving them and their needs. To make calls to those that are sick and/or shut-in. We are available to visit those who are in the hospital, confined to their beds or incarcerated. Care team members greet those that are either new members or visitors to find out who they are and what their needs are.
We make an effort to get an address and/or phone number to keep in touch. We keep ourselves in tune with the members of the church to recognize when someone has been missing for a length of time. When someone has lost a loved one or has had a tragic event occur in their lives we are quick to send an encouraging card or gift. We strive to make sure that all members within the church know who we are, so that they can come to us in a time of need.
We make sure new members know about the various ministries Calvary has to offer.
We help to give out Thanksgiving Baskets to at 30 needy families in the community and hope to increase that number in the coming years Our goal as a team is to go into convalescent homes, rehab institutions and other unconventional facilities to pray for those who would allow it and give communion to those who desire. We would like to begin to provide support for those that are in poverty and point them in the direction of any assistance they may need. We plan to rebuild our food pantry and be able to feed anyone in need. We would like to provide vouchers for furniture, clothes and any other items that are needed in the home. Our goal is to bring our community to Christ by caring for them.
We want all to know that they can come to us when someone is in need of prayer or encouragement. We also work in conjunction with the Mother’s Board.
